High-tech HydroKnit absorbs quickly and is durable for scrubbing. Contaminant-free commercial cloths are a favorite replacement for industrial cloth towels that can harbor dangerous chemicals, such as lead, according to a 2003 Gradient study, in which lead was detected in laundered shop towels at levels that may exceed health based exposure guidelines.
